Falko adds 2 ATR72-500 aircraft to portfolio

Falko, a market leading aircraft operating leasing and asset management company focused on the regional aircraft sector, today announced that it has completed the purchase of two (2) ATR 72-500 aircraft from existing portfolio customer Air Austral. The aircraft, MSNs 650 and 813 have been immediately leased back to Air Austral in a sale and leaseback transaction

“We are delighted to have completed another transaction with Air Austral building on an initial sale and leaseback closed in 2015” said Mark Hughes, Chief Commercial Officer, Falko Regional Aircraft Limited. “This expands our ATR portfolio to thirteen aircraft and we are keen to continue to build our investment in ATR turboprop aircraft. This transaction is the eighth completed by our Falko Regional Aircraft Opportunities Fund which has now invested in over forty regional jets and turboprops since its launch in November 2015 worth over $0.5 billion.”
